If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are strictly prohibited from using the application and must delete it from your device immediately. Your continued use of Roil signifies your complete and unconditional acceptance of all clauses within this document. Nascentra reserves the right to update these terms at any time without prior notice, and your continued use of the game constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms, regardless of whether you have reviewed them.
2. Description of Service and Product Presentation
Roil is presented as a digital entertainment product developed by Nascentra and distributed through the Google Play Store under the developer name Nascentra Labs. The game is designed to provide a challenging dodge-em-up experience where players navigate a doodle-style character through various stage-themed obstacles. The service provided is strictly for personal, non-commercial entertainment purposes. Nascentra grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to use the game on your personal device. We do not guarantee that the game will always be available, bug-free, or compatible with every device, and we reserve the right to modify or discontinue the game or any of its features at our sole discretion.
3. Intellectual Property Rights and Ownership
All content within Roil, including but not limited to source code, graphics, character designs, animations, UI elements, text, and overall look and feel, is the exclusive intellectual property of Nascentra. You are granted a license to play the game, but you do not own any of the underlying assets. You are strictly prohibited from reverse-engineering, decompiling, disassembling, or attempting to extract the source code of the application. Furthermore, you may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on Roil without the express written consent of Nascentra. Any unauthorized use of our intellectual property will result in the immediate termination of your license and may subject you to legal action under international copyright and trademark laws.
4. User Conduct and Prohibited Activities
As a user of Roil, you agree to engage with the application in a lawful and respectful manner. You are prohibited from using the game for any illegal purposes or in a way that could damage, disable, or impair the service. Specifically, you may not use cheats, exploits, automation software, bots, or any third-party software designed to modify the game experience or gain an unfair advantage. Since the game is theatre-themed, we expect users to respect the creative integrity of the product. Any attempt to disrupt the game's performance, interfere with other users' enjoyment, where applicable, or circumvent our security measures is a violation of these terms and will result in a permanent ban from any future services provided by Nascentra.
5. In-Game Purchases and Finality of Sales
Roil may offer digital goods or features for purchase through the Google Play Store. You acknowledge and agree that all in-game purchases are final and strictly non-refundable. Once a transaction is completed, the digital content is delivered to your device, and no returns, exchanges, or credits will be issued by Nascentra. This policy is based on the digital nature of the products, which are consumed or permanently unlocked upon purchase. We do not offer trial periods or satisfaction guarantees for digital goods. Before making a purchase, you must ensure that you have the permission of the account holder and that you truly desire the item, as we will not entertain refund requests for accidental purchases or changes of heart.
6. Absolute No-Refund Policy for Digital Products
Our no-refund policy is a core component of our business model and is applied without exception. This includes, but is not limited to, virtual currency, character skins, level unlocks, or any other digital enhancements. Because Nascentra does not collect user data or maintain individual player accounts on its own servers, we have no mechanism to reclaim or deactivate a digital product once it has been pushed to your device by the Google Play Store. Therefore, we cannot reverse a transaction. By making a purchase within Roil, you explicitly waive any right to a refund under any consumer protection laws that allow for such waivers for digital content, acknowledging that the delivery of the content is immediate and permanent.
7. Third-Party Billing via Google Play Store
All financial transactions within Roil are handled exclusively by Google Play Billing Services. Nascentra is not a payment processor and does not store or handle your credit card information, bank details, or billing history. Any issues related to payment failures, unauthorized charges, or billing disputes must be resolved directly with Google. We are not responsible for any errors or delays caused by the Google Play Store's infrastructure. When you use their billing system, you are subject to their terms and conditions, and you agree that Nascentra has no liability for any financial loss or data breach that occurs within the Google ecosystem during the checkout process.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties: As Is and As Available
Roil is provided to you on an as is and as available basis. Nascentra makes no warranties, express or implied, regarding the application's performance, reliability, or suitability for any particular purpose. We do not guarantee that the game will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from viruses or other harmful components. To the fullest extent permitted by international law, Nascentra disclaims all warranties, including but not limited to the implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a specific use. You use Roil at your own risk, and you acknowledge that the digital experience may vary depending on your device's hardware, software version, and overall system health.
9. Limitation of Liability: General Scope
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Nascentra and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of or inability to use Roil. This includes, but is not limited to, loss of profits, loss of data, loss of goodwill, or other intangible losses. Our total liability for any claim arising under these terms shall not exceed the amount you have paid to us through the application, if any. This limitation of liability is a fundamental element of the agreement between you and Nascentra, and without it, we would not be able to provide Roil to the public as a free or low-cost entertainment product.
10. Specific Disclaimer for User Frustration and Difficulty
Roil is designed as a challenging bullet-hell game intended to test reflexes and patience. You explicitly acknowledge that Nascentra is not liable for any frustration, mental stress, or emotional response you may experience due to the game's difficulty, mechanics, or your inability to progress through specific stages. The You Won't Last Long! tagline is a literal warning of the game's design philosophy. You agree that any rage-quitting, device damage caused by your reaction to the game, or general dissatisfaction with the difficulty curve is your own responsibility. We provide the challenge; how you react to that challenge is entirely within your own control, and we offer no compensation for psychological or emotional states resulting from gameplay.
11. Disclaimer for Technical Errors and Bugs
While we strive for a polished experience, you acknowledge that software inevitably contains bugs. Nascentra is not liable for any errors, glitches, or technical failures within Roil. This includes game crashes, loss of local progress, incorrect score displays, or graphical anomalies. We do not promise that any specific bug will be fixed within a specific timeframe, or at all. You agree that your sole remedy for any technical dissatisfaction is to stop using the application. We are not responsible for any damage to your device's software or hardware that you claim resulted from playing Roil, as the application is built using standard, safe development frameworks, Flutter and Flame.
12. Not Liable for Anything Global Clause
In accordance with your requirements, these terms include an overarching clause stating that Nascentra is not liable for anything related to your use of Roil. This is a comprehensive waiver of liability intended to protect the developer from any and all claims, whether known or unknown, arising from the operation of the software. Whether the issue is technical, financial, emotional, or physical, by using Roil, you agree to hold Nascentra, Nascentra Labs, and its staff harmless. This clause is intended to be as broad as possible under the governing law, serving as a total release of liability for the developer in exchange for providing the user with access to the game.
13. Absence of Advertisements and Subscription Models
Nascentra confirms that Roil does not contain any third-party advertisements or recurring subscription models. Your experience will not be interrupted by external commercial content, and you will never be automatically billed for a subscription. Any costs associated with the game are one-time, voluntary purchases for specific digital items. This clean business model is intended to provide a premium, focused experience. However, the absence of ads does not imply any additional warranties or a higher level of service; it is simply a design choice made by Nascentra Labs to maintain the aesthetic and functional integrity of the theatre-themed doodle world.
14. Offline Usage and Network Requirements
Roil is designed to function primarily in an offline state. You do not need a constant internet connection to play the core game. However, a network connection is required for initial download, updates, and any in-game purchases. Nascentra is not responsible for any data charges you may incur from your mobile carrier or internet service provider while using the game. We are also not liable if certain features, like purchasing, are unavailable due to your lack of connectivity. The game's local state is the source of truth for your progress, and since we do not offer cloud saving, you acknowledge that your data is stored only on the device it was created on.
15. Account Responsibility and Absence of Login
Since Roil does not utilize a login or account system, you are solely responsible for the data stored on your device. If you delete the app, clear its cache, or factory-reset your phone, all local progress and high scores will be permanently lost. Nascentra cannot recover lost data because we do not have a server-side record of your activity. You are also responsible for securing your Google Play account to prevent unauthorized purchases. Any activity occurring through your device is deemed to be your own, and we have no way to verify your identity or reverse actions taken within the application on your hardware.
16. Modifications to the Game and Termination
Nascentra reserves the right to update, modify, or sunset, discontinue, Roil at any time. We may add new levels, change the difficulty of existing ones, or remove certain features without notice. Your license to use Roil is not permanent and can be terminated by Nascentra at any time if we believe you have violated these Terms of Use. If we decide to stop supporting the game, you may lose access to all features and in-game products. You agree that Nascentra has no obligation to provide a refund or compensation in the event of the game's termination or a significant change to its functionality.
17. Indemnification Clause
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Nascentra, its officers, developers, and affiliates from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, or expenses, including reasonable attorney fees, arising out of or in any way connected with your access to or use of Roil. This means that if your actions lead to a lawsuit against Nascentra, for example, if you infringe on a third party's rights or violate these terms, you will be responsible for the legal costs and any damages awarded. You agree that any legal action or proceeding between you and Nascentra shall be brought exclusively in a court of competent jurisdiction in that region. 19. Dispute Resolution and Arbitration

If a resolution cannot be reached within 60 days, both parties agree to resolve the dispute through final and binding arbitration, rather than in a general court of law, except where prohibited by local consumer protection statutes. This clause is intended to minimize the costs of litigation for both the developer and the user.
20. Severability and Entire Agreement
If any provision of these Terms of Use is held to be invalid or unenforceable by a court of law, the remaining provisions of these terms will remain in effect. These terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Nascentra regarding Roil and supersede any prior agreements or understandings we might have had. Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these terms will not be considered a waiver of those rights. This document represents the final and complete legal framework for your use of Roil, ensuring there is no ambiguity regarding the rules of the stage.
