1. Introduction

Welcome to QR/Barcode Batch Scan: No Ads (the "App"), a mobile application developed and operated by Nascentra Labs ("we," "us," or "our"). These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the App.

By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.

We prioritize your privacy and user experience. Our App is designed to be a utility tool that respects your data sovereignty and operates with a "Privacy-First" philosophy.

2. License Grant

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, Nascentra Labs grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download, install, and use the App for your personal, non-commercial use on a mobile device owned or controlled by you.

You agree not to:

  • Reverse Engineer: Decompile, reverse engineer, disassemble, attempt to derive the source code of, or decrypt the App.
  • Modify: Make any modification, adaptation, improvement, enhancement, translation, or derivative work from the App.
  • Violate Laws: Use the App for any illegal purpose or in violation of any local, state, national, or international law.
  • Harass: Use the App to harass, abuse, stalk, threaten, defame, or otherwise infringe or violate the rights of any other party.
  • Resell: Rent, lease, lend, sell, redistribute, or sublicense the App.

3. Intellectual Property Rights

The App and its entire contents, features, and functionality (including but not limited to all information, software, text, displays, images, video, and audio, and the design, selection, and arrangement thereof) are owned by Nascentra Labs, its licensors, or other providers of such material and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property or proprietary rights laws.

"Nascentra Labs" and the "QR/Barcode Batch Scan: No Ads" name and logo are trademarks of Nascentra Labs. You must not use such marks without the prior written permission of Nascentra Labs.

4. User Responsibilities

You are responsible for your use of the App.

  • Content Accuracy: We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or reliability of any QR code or barcode you scan. The App merely acts as a tool to decode information.
  • Third-Party Links: QR codes often contain links to third-party websites. You acknowledge that we do not control these websites and are not responsible for their content, privacy policies, or practices. You access such third-party websites at your own risk.
  • Device Security: You are responsible for maintaining the security of your device and for any activity that occurs on your device while using the App.

5. Privacy

Your privacy is critically important to us. Our use of your personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand our practices.

Summary: We do not collect personal data, track your location, or sell your data. Scanning happens locally on your device.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS. NASCENTRA LABS EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT:

  • THE APP WILL FUNCTION UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR AVAILABLE AT ANY PARTICULAR TIME OR LOCATION.
  • ANY ERRORS OR DEFECTS WILL BE CORRECTED.
  • THE APP IS FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS.
  • THE RESULTS OF USING THE APP WILL MEET YOUR REQUIREMENTS.

7. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL NASCENTRA LABS, ITS AFFILIATES, AGENTS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, SUPPLIERS, OR LICENSORS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, PUNITIVE, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION DAMAGES FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, GOODWILL, USE, DATA, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE USE OF, OR INABILITY TO USE, THE APP.

UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES WILL NASCENTRA LABS BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DAMAGE, LOSS, OR INJURY RESULTING FROM HACKING, TAMPERING, OR OTHER UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS OR USE OF THE APP OR YOUR DATA.

8. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Nascentra Labs and its licensee and licensors, and their employees, contractors, agents, officers, and directors, from and against any and all claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs or debt, and expenses (including but not limited to attorney's fees), resulting from or arising out of a) your use and access of the App, or b) a breach of these Terms.

9. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.

By continuing to access or use our App after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms. If you do not agree to the new terms, please stop using the App.

10. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your license to use the App immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the App will immediately cease.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of Pakistan, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of those rights.
